Ethical policy
Authors and co-authors must familiarize themselves with the guidelines published by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
All participants in the review and publication process must consider their potential conflicts of interest during the review of the work and its publication, and disclose any discrepancies that could be viewed as potential conflicts of interest.
Material or manuscripts that have been previously published are not accepted for publication in the International Journal of Medicine and Medical Research.
Procedure for Handling Complaints about Ethical Violations
The editorial office considers all complaints and reports regarding possible violations of academic integrity and publication ethics.
Complaints may be submitted by authors, reviewers, readers, or other interested parties and must contain reasonable evidence of a potential violation.
The complaint review process includes:
- preliminary evaluation by the editorial office;
- requesting additional explanations from the involved parties;
- assessment of the case in accordance with international publication ethics standards;
- decision-making by the Editorial Board.
Possible outcomes include:
- rejection of the manuscript;
- request for corrections or clarifications;
- publication of an editorial notice;
- retraction of the published article.
