Abstract

Research objective based on observations of CHOGORDS of HIV patients over 5 years (2010-2015), which was assigned to ART, to assess the effectiveness of designated schemes and identify additional factors and deficiencies that may affect the results of the ART.

Materials and methods observations under our supervision in Dnipropetrovsk region AIDS Centre was 450 patients who was appointed ART in 2010. Surveillance conducted over 5 years.

Results and discussion. The analysis on the basis of observation and monitoring 450 patients for HIV in Dnipropetrovsk region AIDS Centre, which has been assigned to antiretroviral therapy (art) in 2010 year over 5 years. Identified additional factors and deficiencies that might affect the results ART.

Conclusions. Majority patients beginning therapy up to 5 years of diagnosis of HIV infection, of which 51% in stage of AIDS, indicating that certain weaknesses in identifying patients for HIV infection at the early stages of the disease, which can lead to progression of disease and mortality from opportunistic diseases and AIDS.
