Abstract

Purpose: to analyze and identify the most effective teaching methods in the field of public health for training learners in both formal and non-formal education. Materials and Methods. The study applied an analysis of scientific literature, synthesis of educational practices, and comparison of traditional and innovative pedagogical approaches. The research materials included publications in peer-reviewed journals addressing teaching methods in public health education. Bibliosemantic and information-analytical methods were used. Results. The study analyzed current teaching methods in public health. It was found that the most effective approaches include active, flipped, experiential, and collaborative learning, as well as the use of digital technologies, personalized approaches, and innovative tools, particularly artificial intelligence. These methods contribute to the development of professional competencies, critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills. The integration of innovative technologies enhances learners’ motivation and knowledge acquisition. At the same time, the need for further research on the long-term effectiveness of personalized and technology-enhanced approaches was identified. The findings confirm the importance of combining different teaching methods to develop practice-oriented skills in future professionals. Conclusions. The combination of traditional and innovative educational technologies creates a flexible and effective learning environment that ensures the training of highly qualified public health professionals capable of responding to the challenges of modern society. The systematic integration of these methods into educational programs can significantly enhance the quality of professional preparation and strengthen the resilience of the healthcare system as a whole.
