POSTOPERATIVE COMPLICATIONS OF ENDOVENOUS LASER COAGULATION OF LOWER EXTREMITIES VARICOSE VEINS

The article adduces an analysis of endovenus laser coagulation of varicose veins complications to prevent their occurrence and to improve the techniques of surgical interventions. There were examined 189 patients who underwent under surgical treatment of lower extremities varicose veins disorder by using endovenus laser coagulation. Specific complications, common for these state and the causes of their appearance were analyzed. Clinical signs, developed due to vaporization phenomenon were recognized.References

Потрапляння бульбашок газу, котрі утворюються під час ЕВЛК, в глибоку систему через сафено-феморальне співустя спричиняє виникнення післяопераційних ускладнень, що деякою мірою погіршує перебіг післяопераційного періоду. Це, в свою чергу, вимагає перегляду питання про обов'язковість виконання кросектомії при ЕВЛК.
