Abstract

Introduction. Modern medical practice increasingly integrates computer technologies into the diagnostic process. This requires nurses to possess a high level of readiness to work with modern software, diagnostic platforms, and databases. Developing this readiness is one of the key aspects of professional training. The use of digital tools in medicine not only improves the accuracy and speed of diagnostics but also optimizes the activities of medical personnel. This places a responsibility on nurses to master modern software, diagnostic platforms, and databases, which have become an integral part of their daily work.

The aim of the study – to define the criteria for the readiness of future nurses to conduct diagnostic studies using computer technologies.

The main part. The study identified three main components of readiness: cognitive (knowledge of computer technologies), practical (skills in working with software), and motivational (awareness of the importance of using modern technologies in medical practice). The importance of fostering adaptability to new technologies and continuous improvement of professional competencies among future nurses was also emphasized. Recommendations were proposed to enhance educational programs, including interactive classes, simulation training, practical case studies, and an interdisciplinary approach to education. These measures will facilitate more effective learning and increase students’ readiness to use modern digital technologies in their professional activities.

Conclusions. The developed criteria enable the assessment of the readiness level of future nurses to use computer technologies in diagnostic studies. This will contribute to improving the quality of medical education and the efficiency of professional activities among healthcare workers.
