Abstract

Pediatric gynecology is a special medical subspecialty that involves the cooperation of medical professionals in gynecology, pediatrics and urology. This specialty differs from general gynecology due to the peculiarities associated with the development and anatomy of girls and adolescents and the need for a delicate approach when examining such patients. Gynecological problems that occur in the pediatric population are unique to this age group and require the doctor and nurse to have skills that are different from those used in adult patients.
