Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the effectiveness of the method of shock wave therapy in patients with post-stroke spasticity. Studies over the past decade have confirmed some changes in approaches to the rehabilitation of spasticity in post-stroke patients. This review of the literature shows that the use of shock wave therapy is an effective method of rehabilitation due to its non-invasive approach, lack of major side effects, good tolerability and compliance with patients with spasticity after stroke.
