Author Guidelines

For publication, articles must be submitted in Ukrainian or English, which publish the results of original research, as well as information on the main scientific issues and results of research in the field of medicine from the specialty 223 “Nursing”.

Articles must be written according to the following scheme: UDC, title of the article in Ukrainian (in capital letters), initials and surnames of the authors in Ukrainian, full name of the institution in Ukrainian, summary in Ukrainian (250–300 words), which must contain such structural elements as: Вступ, Мета роботи, Основна частина, Висновки, ключові слова (up to 8) in Ukrainian; title of the article in English (in capital letters), initials and surnames of the authors in English, full name of the institution in English, summary in English (250–300 words), which must contain such structural elements as: Introduction, The aim of the study, The main part, Conclusions, key words (up to 8) in English.

Scientific articles submitted for publication in Ukrainian must contain the following components: Вступ, Мета роботи, Основна частина, Висновки, Джерела фінансування, Внесок авторів, Конфлікт інтересів, References. In articles written in English, the following elements must be highlighted: Introduction, The aim of the study, The main part, Conclusions, Sources of funding (indicate sources of research funding, including grants, state budget funds or external funding sources), Authors' contribution (each author made a significant contribution to the preparation of the scientific work, namely: developing the idea and design of the research; forming the research concept; conducting a literature review and writing the text; analyzing the data obtained and discussing the results), Conflict of interest (authors must declare any interests or relationships that can be perceived as affecting the objectivity of the research; all conflicts of interest that have a direct or immediate connection with the submitted work are subject to mandatory disclosure; the presence of a conflict of interest is not an obstacle to publication; in the absence of a conflict of interest, it must be noted: "There is no conflict of interest"), References.

The block of literature under the heading "REFERENCES" must be compiled in the order of references mentioned in the the text. In the text of the article, when referring to a reference, its number must be indicated in the order of mention in square brackets. This block of literature for international databases must be formed according to the international standard APA (American Psychological Association (APA) Style).

When indicating a medicinal product in the text of the article, preference should be given to the international non-proprietary name (INN), which should be written with a lowercase letter.

Tables and figures should be referenced in the text in the order of mention. Tables should have short titles. Simultaneous reproduction of the same material in the form of tables and figures is not allowed. Illustrative material such as photographs, drawings, schemes, diagrams, graphs should be marked as figures. Diagrams, graphs and formulas should be created in Word for possible editing. Photographs, echograms, professionally hand-drawn drawings should be sent electronically as a separate file (scanned with a resolution of at least 300 dpi and saved in TIFF or JPEG format). Inscriptions and designations on the figures should be clear and easily readable when the image is reduced to the size of a magazine column.

The article is accepted for publication after checking for plagiarism and double-blind review by independent experts. It must be carefully checked and fully edited. Publication of articles is on the paid per article basis.

The article must include information about all authors: surname, first name, patronymic, place of work, position, academic degree, academic title, contact phone numbers, e-mail address, ORCID.

The scientific and practical journal is published four times a year.

The text of the article should be sent to the journal's email address (nursing.j.tnmu@gmail.com or journal@tdmu.edu.ua) or to the executive secretary (kozak_oand@tdmu.edu.ua) and its electronic version should be registered in the OJS system on the journal's electronic page.

The editorial board reserves the right not to consider articles under the following conditions:

  • the article does not meet the requirements for design and scientific style of presentation of the material;
  • the article does not have scientific novelty and practical significance;
  • the article does not correspond to the topic of the journal;
  • the article was made using an automatic computer translator;
  • the article was not edited (contains grammatical and stylistic errors);
  • the article violated the ethics of scientific research, in particular, if plagiarism is detected in the article.

After publication of the scientific and practical journal, electronic versions of the articles will be posted in open access on the journal website.

The editorial office reserves the right to correct, shorten, and amend the article.

The authors are fully responsible for the correctness of the references provided.

General requirements for the use of generative artificial intelligence

The editorial board of the journal fully supports the principle of transparency in the use of artificial intelligence in scientific activities and the compliance of articles accepted for publication with modern legal and ethical standards.

In the case of using artificial intelligence systems, the authors of articles are obliged to:

  • indicate (mark) the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the preparation of materials, for example, “The material (article) was prepared using artificial intelligence technologies”;
  • check the information generated by artificial intelligence for authenticity;
  • comply with the intellectual property rights and non-property rights of third parties;
  • comply with the current legislation of Ukraine on the protection of personal data and human rights;
  • not use artificial intelligence technologies created by the aggressor state.

At the same time, the authors-researchers are responsible for the consequences of the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the scientific, legal and ethical spheres.
