Requirements for article design

It is accepted only those manuscripts which have not been published, reviews of new publications, and reports on scientific events, which meet the journal’s scope and the modern state of science.

The article is created using Microsoft Word: Times New Roman, size 14, line spacing – 1.5, all margins – 2 cm, paragraph indention – 1.25 cm. Formatting paragraphs with intervals (spaces) or tabs is not allowed. No hyphenation is in the text. Pages are not numbered.

Article structure:

  • UDC
  • Author’s initials and surname in Ukrainian (in bold).
  • Affiliation: institution name, city.
  • E-mail for correspondence.
  • Article title in Ukrainian (semi-bold).
  • Structured abstract (in Ukrainian).
  • Keywords (in Ukrainian).
  • Main text involving:

Introduction (a new paragraph).

Research objective.

Research materials and methods (a new paragraph).

Research findings and discussion (a new paragraph).

Conclusions (a new paragraph).

  • Bibliography
  • Author’s initials and surname in English (in bold).
  • Affiliation: institution name, city.
  • E-mail for correspondence.
  • Article title in English (semi-bold).
  • Structured abstract (in English).
  • Keywords (in English).
  • References

Bibliography is arranged following the order of in-text citation (they are indicated by numbers in square brackets) under DSTU 8302:2015 “Information and Documentation. Bibliographic references. General Provisions and Rules of Compilation”.

The Refences list complies with APA (American Psychological Association) style.

Article

The author’s full name; the title of the article and the journal are transliterated and italicized; article’s title is submitted in the author’s English translation. In a journal that has numbered volumes and issues, the volume and issue numbers are indicated.

Book

The author’s full name, the book’s title and publisher are transliterated. The original data – city, volume, part, pages, etc. – are given in English. The title of the book is also given in English.

Dissertation, extended abstract of dissertation

The dissertation’s title is translated. It is obligatory to indicate PhD dissertation, Extended abstract of PhD dissertation, Master's thesis. Either the correct official translation of the name of the institution or its transliterated name is given.

Conference proceedings

The editors reserve the right to correct, reduce, and improve an article.

The authors are solely responsible for the correctness of the references provided. Articles which do not comply with rules are not considered.
