Management of the final module control in «Orthodontics» at ІV course at Pediatric Stomatology Department

According to Bologna education system the final module control (FMC) is conducted after the finish of the subject and consists of the control of theoretical and practical parts. FMC 2 in«Orthodontics» at Pediatric Stomatology Department is held at Pediatric Stomatology Department at ІV course (VIII semester) and is carried through 4 academic hours. The general score for FMC 2 in«Orthodontics» contains three criteria: scores for the test control, scores for theoretical knowledge, and assessment of practical skills. The FMC 2 includes some elements of training to the license exam «Krok-2 Stomatology» and to the state exam that might improve results in final degree examination. To summit results it is necessary to consider theoretical knowledge of the student, his or her clinical thinking by analysis of situational tasks and mastering of practical skills. Such a complex assessment promotes the high level of professional European training to be competitive on the labor market and benefit in the most complicated and responsible sphere such a medicine.
