Evaluation of the risk of tooth decay among children in the countryside

Abstract

There was conducted a study of the prevalence and intensity of dental caries in primary school children in rural areas. Study of prediction and assessment of the risk of tooth decay in children is an urgent problem, because on the basis of these data, we can determine the child population in need of treatment and preventive measures, calculate the necessary amount of dental care, to assess the effectiveness of preventive measures.
