The scientific and practical journal Actual Problems of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology was founded in 2008 with the aim of developing and disseminating scientific knowledge in the field of medical sciences, specifically pediatrics, obstetrics, and gynecology. The publication was established as a professional scientific and practical platform for publishing the results of fundamental and applied research, as well as for the exchange of experience between scientists and practicing physicians.

Since its foundation, the journal has been published with the support of the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and focuses on current issues of maternal and child health. Currently, the journal is a professional scientific edition of Ukraine that regularly publishes research results by Ukrainian and foreign authors, is indexed in international reference and bibliographic databases, and strictly adheres to the requirements of academic integrity and publication ethics.

State Registration Registration of the entity in the field of print media: Decision of the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine No. 1187 dated April 11, 2024 (Media Identifier R30-04275).

Professional Accreditation The journal is included in the List of Scientific Professional Editions of Ukraine (Category "B") in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 612 dated May 07, 2019 (Annex 6). Results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Medical Sciences can be published in the journal.

Subscription and Availability The journal is presented in the Catalogue of Periodicals of Ukraine (Subscription Index 99879) and on the portal of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.
