Role of estrogens in the mechanism of oxidative impact of cranio-skeletal injury in the late period of traumatic disease

In terms of removing over after 1 month in liver tissue there was observed strengthening of lipid peroxidation, accompanied by an increase in the content of TBA-active products of lipid peroxidation. In brain tissue, these processes almost were not expressed. After application of skeletal injuries in terms of removing more than an increase in the content of secondary products of lipid peroxidation after 1 month post-traumatic period after combined injury and it remains elevated after 2 months, due to the severity of the injury and the depth of systemic disorders. Brain tissue against the backdrop of estrogen deficiency is characterized by greater resistance to oxidative impact injury. Compared with animals without removing bigger intensification of processes of lipid peroxidation was observed only after 1 month of post-traumatic period.
