The evaluation of the effectiveness of the proposed method of rehabilitation in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) on the basis of the analysis of clinical and laboratory parameters was the aim of thіs research. The total number of detected signs in patients in group 1 decreased by 14.13% (p <0.005), in group 2 by 43.51% (p <0.005). In group 2, glucose decreased by 11.33% (p <0.01) versus 7.69% (p <0.005) in patients in group 1, HbA1c at 4.46% (p <0.005) versus 1.71% (p> 0.05) respectively. Applying the course of acupuncture using the Beijing School method (Konglin) from 11 sessions of the braking method in the complex rehabilitation of patients with type 2 diabetes with angiopathy of the lower extremities increases the positive effect after treatment.
