ACTUALITY OF THE AGE-RELATED ASPECT OF CLINICAL COURSE AND CONDUCT OF PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC PANCREATITIS (REVIEW OF LITERATURE)

In recent years, there has been a clear increase in the prevalence of pancreas pathology in young people of working age, but the aggravation of the chronic process in the case of "favorable conditions" occurs in all age categories. The article analyzes recent literature data on the prevalence, clinical and pathogenetic characteristics of the most common etiological factors of chronic pancreatitis, taking into account the age groups of patients. The actuality of in-depth study of the age aspects of chronic pancreatitis, establishment of clinical and pathogenetic features of different age groups of patients, and also development on the basis of these algorithms for the management of patients with chronic pancreatitis and comorbid conditions, taking into account the established age characteristics, have been proved.
Modern trends in medicine and social life in Ukraine are the introduction of a number of reforms at the state level to increase the retirement age, "youth" and the prevalence of people of working age among patients with chronic pancreatitis, the presence of a large number of comorbid conditions in patients of the elderly for chronic pancreatitis, the discovery of new unexplored etiological forms of chronic pancreatitis and their age characteristics, etc. - make the actual problem of in-depth study of the age aspects of chronic pancreatitis, the establishment of clinical and pathogenetic features of different age groups of patients, as well as the development of these algorithms for the management of patients with chronic pancreatitis and comorbid conditions, taking into account established age characteristics.
