SUMMARY. Modeling of acute periodontitis in euthyroid animals is accompanied with an increase in the blood of
CD+4 lymphocytes and increased immunoregulatory index, which reflects the adequate reaction of cellular immunity to
damage. In the experimental conditions of hypothyroidism acute periodontitis occurs against the backdrop of a significant
reduction in the content of CD4+ lymphocytes and is accompanied by a significant decrease in the immunoregulatory
index, which indicates the violation of the cellular component of the immune defense.
