The aim – to assess which screening methods Uzhhorod residents prefer and whether a web resource that formulates a list of personalized evidence based screening methods can change their choices.
Material and Methods. We plan to conduct a pilot study on the basis of Family medicine clinics by interviewing Uzhhorod residents about important for them personally methods of examinations during preventive examinations. Using developed by us the web resource, after entering some personal data, the patient will be able to obtain a list of evidence-based screening studies recommended for individuals with similar data in majority of European countries and the USA. At the end, the patient will need to repeat the same questionnaire as at the beginning of the study, which will allow us to compare the results before and after familiarizing the patient with the evidence.
Results. The database will be generated and processed statistically (frequency of selection of each screening method before and after receiving evidence recommendations)
Conclusions. Approbation of electronic screening system recommendations can help assess changes of patients’ attitude to the preventive measures they need, and in the "transit" period, until the domestic program is created, protect them from prescribing unnecessary methods of examination.
