Publication Ethics and Editorial Policy
The scientific and practical journal “Achievements of Clinical and Experimental Medicine” adheres to high standards of publication ethics and conducts its editorial activities in accordance with internationally recognized guidelines.
The editorial policy of the journal is based on the principles and recommendations of Committee on Publication Ethics, World Association of Medical Editors, International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, and San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment.
The journal ensures:
- Ethical publishing practices — adherence to principles of honesty, transparency, and academic integrity at all stages of manuscript handling and publication;
- Author responsibility — submission of original work, proper citation of sources, and avoidance of plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data;
- Editorial independence — decisions on publication are made solely on the scientific merit of the manuscripts without external influence;
- Objective peer review — implementation of a double-blind peer review process involving independent experts;
- Confidentiality — protection of personal data of authors, reviewers, and research participants;
- Conflict of interest management — mandatory disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest by all participants in the publication process;
- Handling of ethical misconduct — addressing cases of academic misconduct in accordance with COPE guidelines, including corrections or retractions when necessary.
The Editorial Board is responsible for upholding these principles and ensuring the quality and integrity of published research.
