Анотація

РЕЗЮМЕ. Лайм-бореліоз (LB) – це бореліозна інфекція, спричинена кліщами, інфікованими трьома видами Borrelia: B. afzelii, B. garinii та B. burgdorferi sensu stricto. Передається укусами кліщів.

Метою статті є обговорення генетичних методів обстеження при підозрі на Лайм бореліоз.

Матеріал і методи. Пошук літератури в системі MEDLINE та базі даних Scopus.

Результати. Генетичну ідентичність ізольованих борелій пропонується визначати шляхом аналізу послідовностей генів, ампліфікованих за допомогою ПЛР. Ген OspC здатний до горизонтальної передачі, що призводить до величезного різноманіття новосинтезованих кодованих ним білків. Це дозволяє спірохеті утворити нові антигенні епітопи, щоб уникнути імунної відповіді хазяїна.

Висновки. Штами B. burgdorferi sensu stricto демонструють високу генетичну гетерогенність.
