СHARACTERISTIC OF INCIDENCE AND PREVALENCE OF ALCOHOLISM AMONG ADULT POPULATION OF TRANSCARPATHIAN REGION

Purpose: to carry out analysis of the registered incidence of adult population of the Transcarpathian region to alcoholism in the context of administrative areas and levels of prevalence of alcoholism among adult population of the region, highlighting in separate category of women and the rural population.
Materials and methods. At work performance are applied statistical, bibliosemantyck and method of system approach. The data of branch statistical reporting on incidence and prevalence of alcoholism among adult population of the Transcarpathian region for the period 2006-2013 years was subject to the statistical analysis.
Results. Tendencies to decrease in levels of morbidity of adult population of the Transcarpathian region by alcoholism, including women and rural population, as well as to reduce in an indicator of prevalence of alcoholism among all adult population of region are established. At the same time it is registered a tendency to increase indicator of prevalence of alcoholism among adult women and rural population.
Conclusions. Significant differences of indicators of morbidity and prevalence of alcoholism in the context of administrative areas of the Transcarpathian region among all categories of the population demand studying social, medical and economic determinants of alcoholism at adult population.
