QUESTIONS OF FUNCTIONING AND ORGANIZATION OF THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE SYSTEM IN UKRAINE

Purpose: to study some issues of the functioning and organization of the emergency medical care system in Ukraine based on the study of literary sources.
Materials and Methods. Library semantic and analytical methods were used.
Results. In Ukraine, organizational and economic mechanisms for reforming the health care system are being actively studied. And also, in order to improve the provision of pre-hospital care and ensure the availability, timeliness and improvement of the quality of EMC to the population of Ukraine, a number of legal acts have been adopted, according to which EMC is considered medical assistance, which is the implementation of urgent organizational, diagnostic and therapeutic measures by EMF employees aimed at saving and preserving human life.
Conclusions. The results of the analysis of literary sources, which investigate various aspects of the organization and activities of the health system in Ukraine, made it possible to identify the main problems in the provision of EMC.
