mathematical modeling, management, healthcare.Abstract
Objective: To develop and implement basic mathematical models describing the correlation of health and its factors; methods of evaluation of work of doctor and of the functional unit where he works, the cost of medical care etc. The paper substantiates algorithms for clinical decisions and analyzes their potential and real models.
Materials and methods. Original methods of mathematical modeling of healthcare management are presented.
Results. Developed and proven economic and mathematical models that allow objectively evaluate medical care at outpatient and inpatient facilities.
Conclusions. Main areas of application of system analysis in healthcare include: development and implementation of targeted complex programs, reorganization of healthcare system based on market principles, development of mathematical models in healthcare system, modeling of interaction of healthcare institutions to identify weaknesses with further optimization.
