CURRENT TRENDS MORTALITY OF THE WORKING-AGE POPULATION FROM DISEASES OF THE DIGESTIVE ORGANS

Purpose. Identification of current trends of the working-age population mortality from diseases of digestive organs in regions of Ukraine, among men and women, depending on settlement type was a research objective.
Materials and methods. Mortality rates of the working-age population from diseases of digestive organs in regions of Ukraine, among men and women are investigated, in the cities and rural areas in a dynamics from 2010 to 2014. Methods: system approach, medical and mathematical statistics.
Results. Growth of mortality of the working-age population from diseases of digestive organs in general across Ukraine, especially in Poltava (by 1,5 times), Khmelnytskyi (for 36%), Sumy (for 30%) areas is revealed. It is proved that mortality of men is higher, than mortality of women almost twice. Tendencies of mortality of urban and country people were almost identical.
Conclusion. Further development of administrative actions in public health policy for improvement of the existing situation is expedient.
