STATE OF APPLICATION OF PREVENTIVE METHODS IN PRACTICE OF GENERAL PRACTITIONERS – FAMILY DOCTORS

Purpose – to study the use of preventive methods in the institutions of primary health care.
Materials and methods. Analyzed information from the regions on the use of preventive methods on a specially designed form and the results of a survey of general practitioners – family doctors. Methods: information-analytical, sociological.
Results. Analysis of data from regions and respondents confirmed that they are generally positive about the work of general practitioners – family doctors prevention. The main reason to prevent the provision of preventive services is the lack of objective conditions. However, the most highly rated passive, not active prevention strategy. It is noted that short-term interventions on lifestyle confused with individual conversations on an outpatient receptions. It was found that for the provision of preventive services should be at least 5 minutes per 1 patient. Most regions endorse the need for correction of existing accounting and reporting forms for institutions of primary health care in terms of prevention.
Conclusions. Grounded system or developments on prevention of family medicine specialists not developed.
