MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE OF HIV-INFECTED LABOR MIGRANTS IN THE TRANSCARPATHIAN REGION

Purpose - to assess the efficacy of adoption of organizational arrangements to involve HIV- positive persons from the group of labor migrants in medical surveillance, by making immunoassay services more available.
Materials and methods. The form of analysis of the primary records № 030-5 / about persons who already were under medical observation and the form of primary records № 502-1/o for adult persons placed under medical observation in the current calendar year, in 2012 and 2013 have been analyzed.
Results. It was found out, that immunoassay of HIV-positive persons of dispensary group was increased from 60.7% to 85.9% in 2013 compared to 2012, the average of HIV-positive persons, got under regular medical check-up in current year increased from 62.3 % in 2012 to 77.9% in 2013.
Conclusions. In terms of regional subepidemy of HIV/AIDS in Transcarpathia region, due to decisive role of labor migrants in its development, it is very important to adopt some complex arrangements to involve the HIV-positive persons in active medical surveillance.
