Purpose: To investigate the effectiveness of physical rehabilitation for military personnel affected by the fullscale war in Ukraine and to identify the main directions for improving rehabilitation support. Materials and methods. A survey was conducted among 53 military personnel undergoing rehabilitation at the “Rehabilitation Center 77” in Vinnytsia. Data collection was carried out using a specially developed questionnaire that included general information, assessment of rehabilitation effectiveness, accessibility of psychological assistance, and the level of social adaptation after rehabilitation. Descriptive statistical methods were applied for data analysis. Results. It was found that the vast majority of patients were satisfied with the quality of rehabilitation services. Individually tailored rehabilitation programs were provided to 90.57% of the respondents. The most common rehabilitation methods were physiotherapy, massage, and kinesiotherapy. Psychological assistance was received by 88.68% of respondents, which also positively influenced rehabilitation outcomes. More than 69% of participants were satisfied with their physical condition after completing the treatment course, and 100% participated in social adaptation programs. Conclusions. The full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation has caused a deep crisis in the healthcare system, particularly in the field of rehabilitation, highlighting the urgent need for a comprehensive approach to medical, psychological, and social support for military personnel. The increasing number of wounded, the complexity of combat injuries, and psycho-emotional disorders have revealed the insufficient preparedness of the current rehabilitation infrastructure, necessitating a systemic review. A comprehensive approach involves interdisciplinary cooperation among specialists, individualization of recovery programs, and long-term patient support, which requires the development of multidisciplinary teams, expansion of the facility network, enhancement of staff qualifications, and integration of various types of support into a single effective system.
