It was determined that audit in the field of medicine is a key tool for monitoring and evaluating the activities of medical institutions. It was established that the digitalization of medicine opens up new opportunities for the development of audit, in particular through the introduction of electronic medical records, automated data analysis systems and artificial intelligence for monitoring treatment effectiveness indicators. The main problems of audit in Ukraine were identified, in particular insufficient regulation, lack of uniform standards and lack of independent audit bodies. Conclusions. To ensure audit effectiveness, it is necessary to improve the regulatory framework, develop audit control standards and introduce independent expert institutions. The digitization of medicine opens up broad prospects for the development of clinical audit, in particular through the introduction of electronic medical records, automated data processing and analysis systems, as well as artificial intelligence for assessing the effectiveness of treatment. The integration of digital technologies into the audit process not only increases the accuracy and speed of assessing the compliance of medical institutions with established standards, but also contributes to the timely identification of shortcomings and their systematic elimination. Thus, the digitalization of clinical audit becomes a key factor in ensuring high standards of medical services and improving patient safety.
