EXTREME SITUATIONS IN THE STATE AS A CATALYST OF THE NEED FOR CHANGES TO THE FUNDAMENTALS OF UKRAINIAN HEALTH LEGISLATION

Purpose: to analyze the needs for updating the Fundamentals of Ukrainian legislation on health care in accordance with modern realities in the health care system.
Materials and Methods. The Fundamentals of Ukrainian legislation on health care and other normative legal acts, which were adopted in Ukraine over the last decade, were used for the analysis. When conducting the research, general scientific and special research methods were used, including analysis and synthesis, comparison, generalization, system-structural analysis and analytical method.
Results. The legislative framework of the health care system of Ukraine regarding the provision of affordable and high-quality medical care to the population of Ukraine has been analyzed. Special emphasis is placed on the substantiation of the definitions of the updated terminology, medical service. The state's approach to the preventive orientation of the health care system and the broader involvement of the public health system in preserving and strengthening the health of the population of Ukraine are analyzed in detail. Attention is focused on the need to involve medical workers in the reasonable calculation of the food basket for population categories based on updated or newly developed legal documents. The need to update the Fundamentals of Ukrainian legislation on health protection in matters of control and supervision of the creation of health-friendly working conditions in the private sector, promotion of a healthy lifestyle of the population has been identified.
Conclusions. The healthcare system of Ukraine urgently needs a unified structured legislative framework. The basics of the legislation of Ukraine on health care is to some extent a program document that needs further updating in accordance with the modern realities of health care and detailed development of the regulatory framework for each of its positions.
