Materials and Methods. The bibliographic method and the method of structural-logical analysis were used. The systematic approach was the methodical basis of research.
Results. Psychologists and teachers are aware of the urgent need to create and implement a personal approach to the student of education as one of the principles of organizing educational work. A fundamental change in the educational goal reorients the learning process to the individual. This form of educational organization involves moderating the process on the basis of deep respect for the student's personality, taking into account the peculiarities of individual development, treating him as a conscious responsible subject of educational interaction and transferring responsibility for his professional development.
The principles of portfolio technology are formulated by scientists as self-assessment of results, systematic and regular self-monitoring.
In order to help to register the multifaceted achievements of an intern a decision to implement an experimental version of the educational portfolio was made at a meeting of the department in 2021.
The portfolio consists of a title page and four appendices (information about research activities, attendance at lectures, organizational and educational practice and work as part of a multidisciplinary team based on a medical institution).
The intern must register each of his achievements. Confirming documents include: teachers' signatures, examination information, certificates, diplomas, reviews of practice (internship) supervisors, publications, etc.
Conclusion. During the implementation, we substantiated the methodological foundations of the "Portfolio" technology, described the advantages and disadvantages of this method.
