GUARANTEED PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSISTANCE AND REHABILITATION OF SERVICEMEN AS A COMPONENT OF NATIONAL SECURITY

Purpose: to show the urgent need for full-scale implementation of measures of psychological assistance and rehabilitation of troops personnel before the conduct of hostilities, during their conduct with the special attention to measures to prepare the military men for returning to peaceful life, in family conditions, after the end of the war.
Materials and Methods. The research is based on the analysis of sources of scientific information, regulatory documents, scientific publications, materials of scientific and practical conferences on the organization of medical support for the elimination of the consequences of the use of chemical weapons in combat conditions. Analytical, bibliographic, historical, logical methods and systematic analysis were used during the research.
Results. The analysis of the regulatory framework for the organization of psychological assistance and rehabilitation of servicemen and members of their families was carried out. The need to create a system of psychological rehabilitation of the population and family members of servicemen - defenders of the Fatherland was justified.
Conclusion. The effectiveness of the system of providing psychological assistance and rehabilitation of servicemen-combatants in terms of material, technical and personnel support should be considered at the state level as a component of national security of the state.
