PHYSICAL THERAPY IN THE FORMATION OF INDICATORS OF QUALITY OF LIFE

Purpose: to determine the role and place of physical therapy as a component of the rehabilitation system in health care, in the formation of indicators for assessing the quality of life of the population.
Materials and Methods. Research methods used: bibliosemantic, content analysis, systematic approach to information analysis and methods of comparison and generalization. The object of the study was the quality of life of the population in the component «Population Health». The study was based on a systematic analysis of the National Matrix of quality of life indicators in Ukraine.
Results. According to the results of the analysis of the structural components of the National Matrix of Quality of Life Indicators in Ukraine, it was found that among the proposed Indicators of objective assessment of the Health System matrix, the assessment is based on staffing of doctors and paramedics. The importance of taking into account the indicators of the health care system by rehabilitation specialists, including physical therapists, when conducting a comprehensive analysis of the entire category of the sub-environment «Health» in correlation with individual indicators of the unit of subjective assessment of their own health is justified.
Conclusion. There is a justified need to outline the role and place of components of the rehabilitation care system, including physical therapy, as part of the rehabilitation system in health care, in the formation of indicators for assessing the quality of life.
