QUALITY OF LIFE MANAGEMENT AS A COMPONENT OF TRAINING OF MASTERS OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Purpose: to study and analyze the state of training of masters of public health to manage the quality of life of the population.
Materials and Methods. The educational program and curriculum for the training of higher education applicants of the second (master’s) level of education in the field of knowledge 22. Health care, specialty 229. Public health (EP “Public Health” of Uzhhorod National University) and the syllabus of the discipline “Management of the Quality of Life” of this educational program were used as the materials of the study.
Method of structural and logical analysis and bibliosemantic method were applied in the course of study.
Results. The article gives a description and structure of the discipline. The program of the discipline “Management of the Quality of Life” for training the masters of public health is composed of 120 academic hours (4 credits), of which 61.7 % are for full-time students, and for part-time students this index is 88.3 %, respectively. The program includes 10 educational topics in the main areas of ensuring a high quality of life of the population. The program provides higher education students with a number of general and professional competencies that will allow masters of public health to manage the quality of life of the population of the local community.
Conclusions. The program gives aal the possibilities to the students to master the competencies necessary for practical work.
