THE INTRODUCTION TO THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS OF THE PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS PARAMEDICS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY, NARCOLOGY AND MEDICAL PSYCHOLOGY TERNOPIL NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY.

Purpose: to highlight the basic principles of educational and professional training programs for paramedic students which which are taught at the department.
Materials and Methods. In the course of the research used bibliographic, structural and logical analysis methods. The methodological basis of the study was a systematic approach.
Results. The article analyzes the educational program “Fundamentals of general psychology and the psychology of crisis conditions” and “Emergency psychiatric care”, which were implemented at the department since the beginning of 2018 academic year. Deals with new aspects of the study of subjects that are relevant for future paramedics. It is determined that during the period of study at the department students have the opportunity to learn practical skills individually in providing psychological assistance, try their hand at teamwork and get feedback from teachers. These methods simulation learning criticaly need to develop the ability to interact with each other, make contact with the patient clearly act in emergency situations and predict possible reactions of patients in stressful situations.
Conclusions. Developed by the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology training programs actively promote the development of clinical thinking of future specialists, like as paramedics, provide the necessary knowledge, algorithms action, trained quickly to act in critical situations and provide quality psychological support.
