OCCUPATIONAL BURNING IS ONE OF THE UNSOLVED PROBLEMS OF THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM

Materials and methods. An analysis of scientific sources of information on the problem of burnout among health professionals. Bibliosemantic, analytical research methods are used.
Results. The article analyzes the main factors that determine the development of burnout. Sources of stress, gender features, a number of medical specialties in which professional burnout can be formed faster are determined. The main features of communication of medical workers with patients with the predominance of certain components of professional burnout (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, reduction of professional / personal achievements) are analyzed. Recommendations on prevention and methods of correction of occupational burnout in medical workers are given. The foreign experience of overcoming professional burnout is considered, in particular, sessions of group psychotherapy by the method of Balint.
Conclusions. Occupational burnout is currently an unresolved problem in the health care system that requires the involvement of psychologists or psychotherapists. The implementation of a set of preventive measures for burnout will hope to reduce the prevalence of burnout among health care workers and, as a result, will help improve health care and improve their health.
