HISTORY OF ORIGIN, DEVELOPMENT AND CURRENT STATE OF PHTHISIOLOGIGAL SERVICE IN KREMENETS REGION

Purpose: to investigate the history of the origin, development and current state of the phthisiological service in Kremenets region.
Materials and Methods. We have carried out a systematic analysis of scientific sources of information on the history of the origin and development of the Ternopil State Medical University, Ternopil , Ukraine
Purpose: to investigate the history of the origin, development and current state of the service in Kremenets region. The state of tuberculosis in the Kremenets district in different periods of the fight against tuberculosis is analyzed.
Results. The data on the birth, development, as a result of proper organization of work in the fight against tuberculosis are presented: methods of detection, conservative anti-tuberculosis therapy and surgical treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis, preventive anti-tuberculosis measures in various periods of the development of phthisiological services. As well as its decline, due to the current unreasonable reforms in the phthisiological service.
Conclusion. Kremenets Phthisiological Hospital is located in the area that is ideal for the treatment of respiratory diseases. A small in number but capable, hardworking medical and support staff has been preserved, which takes as an example the faithful service to the sick of their predecessors.
