Materials Methods. Using the analytical method and the method of the systems approach, the mechanisms for implementing the state policy in Nursing are analyzed and a comprehensive functional-organizational model of the nursing quality management system is proposed.
Results and Discussion. In the article, based on the critical study and in-depth analysis of the experience of organizing the management of nursing services, a methodical approach to the development and implementation of a functional-organizational model of the nursing quality management system in the health system of Ukraine is proposed. Based on the data obtained, the author of the study: firstly, applied a systematic approach to the development of a functional-organizational model of the nursing quality management system; secondly, determined the constituent elements of the specified system; thirdly, proposed and justified the directions of development of the system in the short, medium and long term. This model was developed using six components of a systematic approach with the use of innovative components to date, namely, the Center for Advanced Training of Medical Staff, standards and algorithms for nurses in the quality management system, as well as enhancing the role of regional nursing associations. The proposed elements fully correspond with the main issues of reforming the health care system and its autonomization.
Conclusions. A comprehensive functional and organizational model of the nursing quality management system was proposed, the elements of which fully correspond to the main issues of reforming the healthcare system and its autonomization.
