Aims and Scope
The editorial policy of the “Bulletin of Medical and Biological Research” journal is based on the principles of objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication; high demands on the quality of scientific research; obligatory peer review of articles; collegiality in making decisions on the publication of articles; accessibility and efficiency in communicating with authors; strict compliance with copyright and related rights. The main criterion in the selection of materials for publication is their originality and relevance of ideas, the scientific and factual reliability of the presented material.
The purpose of “Bulletin of Medical and Biological Research” is to promote scientific progress and the development of medical science and practice, to enhance the scientific level and professional competence of scientists, physicians, and students in the field of medicine and biology.
Journal objectives:
- publication of original research, analytical reviews, systematic reviews, clinical cases, covering all aspects of medical, biological sciences, and nursing;
- establishment of partnership cooperation with foreign scientific publishing organisations;
- compliance with editorial ethics.
Beginning with Vol. 4, No. 1, 2022, the editorial board narrowed the thematic scope of the journal. Articles are accepted from:
- Anatomy and physiology of human and animal organs;
- Molecular biology and genetics;
- Biochemistry and biophysics;
- Medical microbiology and immunology;
- Pharmacology and pharmacy;
- Clinical medicine, including studies of diseases and treatment methods;
- Experimental medicine and animal research;
- Epidemiology and disease prevention;
- Medical technology and biomedical engineering.
The journal publishes scientists, researchers, professionals, and experts in the fields of medicine, biology, pharmaceuticals, and related areas, as well as master's and doctoral students conducting research in these fields. Manuscripts accepted for publication allow scientists and researchers from different countries to share their research and gain new knowledge, which contributes to the advancement of science and the improvement of the quality of medical care.
