Publication Ethics and Editorial Policy
The scientific and practical journal “Achievements of Clinical and Experimental Medicine” adheres to high standards of publication ethics and conducts its editorial activities in accordance with internationally recognized guidelines and best practices in scholarly publishing.
The editorial policy of the journal is based on the principles and recommendations of the following organizations:
- Committee on Publication Ethics — regarding ethical conduct of authors, reviewers, and editors, as well as handling cases of academic misconduct;
- World Association of Medical Editors — regarding editorial independence, responsibility, and ethical aspects of medical publishing;
- International Committee of Medical Journal Editors — regarding manuscript preparation and authorship criteria;
- San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment — regarding responsible research assessment practices.
The journal ensures:
- adherence to the principles of academic integrity, honesty, and transparency at all stages of the editorial process;
- editorial independence and decision-making based solely on the scientific merit of submissions;
- objective and unbiased double-blind peer review involving independent experts;
- authors’ responsibility for submitting original work, proper citation, and avoidance of plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data;
- confidentiality of information related to authors, reviewers, and research participants;
- mandatory disclosure and management of conflicts of interest;
- appropriate handling of ethical issues in accordance with COPE guidelines, including corrections or retractions when necessary.
The editorial board is responsible for upholding these principles, ensuring the quality of published materials, and maintaining trust in scientific research.
