The aim of the work – to forecast the results of the passing of two components of the one state qualification exam in 2018/2019 based on the analysis of test results in the previous academic year.
The main body. The testing center has prepared an analytical material that collects data on the completion of the Krok 1 exam and the English language proficiency test in 2017/2018 by native, foreign Russian-speaking and English-speaking students of three specialties of budgetary and contractual forms of study.
The “compromise method” was used to establish the criterion “made up” for a professional language test in a foreign language, based on the fact that the projected number of students who do not pass the foreign language exam is comparable to the number of students who did not complete the basic test.
Conclusion. For 2018/2019 academic year it is suggested to set the initial criterion for successful completion of the test of a foreign language of professional orientation at the level of 30.5 %.
