The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the features of organizing educational and mentoring work in the process of professional training of future specialists in higher medical education institutions. It is substantiated that the modern paradigm of medical education requires the training of not only a highly qualified graduate who is competitive on the Ukrainian and European labor markets, but also the formation of an ideologically mature, highly moral, and spiritual personality. The author analyzes the specifics of the formation of professional identity of applicants, which is based on the ability to understand, empathize, help, and act on the principles of humanism. Special attention is paid to the integration of educational tools directly into the educational process and practical training of students. The key aspects of the national, civic, ideological, and empathetic paradigm are considered alongside moral and ethical benchmarks that serve as the foundation for future clinical decision-making. Particular emphasis is placed on the integration of academic work through the use of innovative simulation classes and the educational potential of the mentorship system as key factors in the professional development of future medical professionals. The article determines that for the effective implementation of educational potential, a higher medical education institution must implement various forms (trainings, speaking clubs, interest groups, panel discussions, etc.), methods, techniques, and principles of educational work with youth, as well as ensure the active participation of future healthcare workers in volunteer, charitable, and educational activities. It is summarized that the synergy of academic learning and purposeful educational influence will optimize the process of adapting education to the requirements of the modern healthcare system and the challenges of the professional environment, allowing the training of a specialist who is competitive on the Ukrainian and European labor markets.
