ВИКОРИСТАННЯ ШТУЧНОГО ІНТЕЛЕКТУ ДЛЯ РАННЬОЇ ДІАГНОСТИКИ КАРІЄСУ

Анотація

Карієс зубів залишається однією з найпоширеніших стоматологічних патологій, а його раннє виявлення є важливою умовою своєчасного застосування профілактичних і малоінвазивних втручань. У зв’язку з розвитком цифрової стоматології зростає інтерес до використання технологій штучного інтелекту для аналізу стоматологічних зображень і підтримки діагностичного процесу.
Мета дослідження – проаналізувати сучасні літературні дані щодо використання штучного інтелекту для раннього виявлення карієсу, визначити його переваги, обмеження та перспективи застосування в клінічній стоматології.
Матеріали та методи. Проведено аналіз сучасних наукових публікацій, індексованих у базах PubMed та Google Scholar. Пошукову стратегію формували на основі клінічних і технологічних блоків ключових слів.
Результати та їх обговорення. За даними сучасних досліджень, інструменти штучного інтелекту демонструють високу діагностичну ефективність у виявленні карієсу, особливо під час аналізу стоматологічних рентгенограм. Найбільш доцільним є їх використання як «другого читача» для підвищення чутливості виявлення ранніх апроксимальних уражень і стандартизації оцінки зображень. Водночас ефективність таких систем залежить від типу карієсу, локалізації ураження, характеристик зображення та особливостей навчальної вибірки. До основних обмежень відноситься ризик хибнонегативних і хибнопозитивних результатів, етичні та правові питання, проблеми конфіденційності даних і висока вартість впровадження.
Висновки. Штучний інтелект є перспективним допоміжним інструментом раннього виявлення карієсу, однак на сучасному етапі не може розглядатися як самостійний засіб встановлення діагнозу і має використовуватися в поєднанні з клінічним досвідом лікаря-стоматолога.
