Статеві аспекти метаболічних змін у тканинах пародонта при його патології

У статті наведено аналіз літературних даних щодо проблеми патологічних змін у пародонті за умов гормонального дисбалансу в чоловіків та жінок. Показано, що на сьогодні проблема патології пародонта за умов недостатньої функції статевих залоз не дає відповіді на всі питання науковців, незважаючи на те, що з ростом пухлинних захворювань кількість людей молодого та середнього віку з видаленими гонадами суттєво збільшується. До того ж, наявність значної кількості негативних впливів зовнішнього середовища та супутні захворювання провокують деструктивні зміни як в м’яких, так і у твердих тканинах пародонта, на тлі остеопорозу, який набуває характеру епідемії.Посилання
