Terms Of Publication
Publication of articles in “Medical and Clinical Chemistry” is fee-based.
The journal publishes original papers in medical, biological, pharmaceutical and veterinary sciences Order No. 928 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated June 11, 2026 (Appendix 6).
Articles may be submitted in Ukrainian or British English (original or professionally translated; automatic translations are not accepted).

Author information (in Ukrainian and English) must be attached separately, including names, affiliations, contacts, academic titles, and ORCID iDs (mandatory).
Files should be named after the author (e.g. Name_Article). Non-compliant manuscripts will not be considered.
To publish an article in Medical and Clinical Chemistry no. 4 (110)/2026, it is necessary to take the following steps until October 15, 2026:
- fill in an application February (at the link)
- тhe electronic version of the article must be submitted via the journal’s OJS system (http://ojs.tdmu.edu.ua) and additionally sent to [email protected]
Academic integrity
The editorial staff carries out anonymous peer-reviews of articles and checks for plagiarism. All papers are subject to plagiarism check using StrikePlagiarism.com by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
No more than one article by the same author (co-author) may be published in the issue.
The editorial board encourages authors to submit manuscripts in English to facilitate the international dissemination of research findings.
Publication fee
The journal does not charge a submission fee. The publication fee is charged only after an article has been accepted for publication and has no influence on the peer-review process or editorial decisions.
Submitted manuscripts are subject to editing, peer review, and plagiarism check.
If the article successfully passes peer review and is accepted for publication, the author will be provided with bank details for payment of the publication fee.
After making the payment, the author must send a scanned copy of the receipt to the editorial office.
The publication fee is UAH 1,300 (up to 12 pages). Each extra page is charged at UAH 50. The publication fee covers the costs associated with the processing, peer review, and publication of the article.
The editorial board accepts individual articles submitted by postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs for publication free of charge, provided that the manuscripts are authored solely by the students (without co-authors), comply with the journal’s requirements, and adhere to the principles of academic integrity.
Along with the manuscript, postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs must submit a certificate issued the graduate studies department confirming their enrollment. The certificate must be signed by the head of the relevant department and bear the its official seal.
Authors may also order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 1,000 and is payable in addition to the publication fee.
