PROSPECTS AND PROBLEMS OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN THE PUBLIC HEALTH SYSTEM

Purpose: to identify problems and prospects of the management process in the public health system in Ukraine and to develop strategic approaches to improving this process. Materials and Methods: The following methods were used in the study: statistical method, system analysis, comprehensive assessments, sociological survey, and copying of statistical data. Results. It has been established that quality management in healthcare involves the use of modern methods of planning, organization, motivation and control to ensure the effectiveness of medical services, meet the needs of patients and increase the effectiveness of the healthcare system. It is based on the principles of transparency, results orientation, adherence to ethical standards and the use of evidence-based approaches, which allows creating sustainable and accessible models of medical care. Conclusions. The basic principles and models of public health management are based on integration and cooperation between government, health institutions and civil society organizations. The principles of efficiency, accessibility, inclusiveness and results orientation are fundamental in modern management, which allows ensuring an adequate level of health care for all segments of the population.
