ОСОБЛИВОСТІ СПОЖИВАННЯ ПРОТЕЇНУ СЕРЕД СТУДЕНТІВ МЕДИЧНОГО УНІВЕРСИТЕТУ

Анотація

Вступ. Спортивне харчування, зокрема протеїнові добавки, отримує все більшу популярність серед фізично активного населення. При цьому в суспільстві продовжують існувати суперечливі уявлення про доцільність, ефективність та безпечність таких продуктів. Часто ці уявлення базуються на неперевірених джерелах та міфах, що може призводити до неправильного ставлення або відмови від корисних нутрієнтів. Мета дослідження – вивчити ставлення, рівень обізнаності та практичний досвід споживання протеїну й інших спортивних добавок серед серед студентів Тернопільського національного медичного університету імені І. Я. Горбачевського, які навчаються на 1-6 курсах. Методи дослідження. У роботі були використані такі методи дослідження: соціологічне опитування 106 респондентів з використанням Google Forms; методи описової статистики для аналізу відповідей; порівняльний аналіз отриманих даних з науковою літературою. Результати та обговорення: Результати опитування показали, що більшість респондентів мають позитивне ставлення до спортивних добавок і вважають їх безпечними (87,7%). Це узгоджується з даними наукової літератури, де зазначається, що протеїн та інші добавки є безпечними для здорових людей за умови правильного застосування. Поширені міфи, такі як «протеїн шкідливий для нирок» (42,5%), «викликає ожиріння» (8,5%) або «є стероїдом» (39,6%), не підтверджуються доказовими джерелами, але все ж поширюються серед частини населення, що свідчить про недостатній рівень інформованості. Більшість користувачів відзначали позитивні зміни, зокрема підвищення сили (18,9%), зростання м’язової маси (30,2%), покращення витривалості (50,9%) та швидше відновлення (42,5%) – такі ефекти описані і в сучасних дослідженнях спортивного харчування. Побічні ефекти зустрічалися рідко та переважно були пов’язані з харчовими помилками (наприклад, низьким споживанням клітковини) або індивідуальною непереносимістю компонентів продукту. Висновки. Отримані результати показали, що більшість респондентів мають позитивне ставлення до протеїнових добавок і вважають їх безпечними. Значна частина опитаних використовувала протеїн і відмічала покращення м’язової маси, сили, витривалості та процесів відновлення. Поширені міфи про шкоду протеїну переважно спростовуються літературними джерелами, а побічні ефекти були рідкісними.
